Beautiful Vintage PENTAPCO Wicker Sewing Basket Pink & Blue Floral W/ Divider Insert W/ Original Tag. Condition is "Used".
This vintage sewing basket is in excellent, near mint condition. The basket is a pink wicker with a beautiful cloth pink and blue floral print. The wicker exterior of the box is in perfect condition. All of the trim and the cloth closure tab with Velcro fastener is firmly attached and in excellent condition. There is a little accent bow made of the same fabric on the front by the closure tab. The hinges on the lid and the swing handle are also in excellent working condition. The hinge opens the top of the basket and stays in an upright position until closed. The bottom exterior has a faux wood bottom with all 4 pink feet firmly attached.
On the interior, the pink satin pin cushion and tufted satin storage pouch on the lid is perfect. The bric a brac trim is also perfect as well as the interior sides and bottom. The insert is a clear plastic and is in like new condition, no cracks etc. This sewing box is ready to use or beautiful just to display. It measures 10” long, 7” tall (without handle) and 7.5” wide.
