PLANET OF THE APES TV Series "THE CURE" script – Final 5/23/74

This is a vintage script reproduction I’ve had in my collection for nearly 20 years.
The cover is light blue and interior pages are red.
The script was written by Edward J. Lasko. It’s marked Final and dated May 23, 1974 on the cover and first page.
This was the twelfth episode aired, but was the sixth one filmed. In this script, PETE BURKE was still named STAN KOVAK and URKO was named URSUS.
The fugitives leave a friendly human settlement after Alan Virdon reveals the truth of their past to a young woman, which oncerns Galen. When they learn the settlement has been stricken with malaria, they return to help. They must contend with an ambitious chimp doctor as well as the ape High Council, who debate between destroying the village and allowing a cure to be found, especially after a gorilla is infected.
