Jackson,Travis HOF 1928-43 old style signatures

Description

Prior to WWII most teams like they do now with baseballs would have players (between 5-10) sign a sheet of paper usually 5 x 7 or smaller.  Collectors would then cut these signatures out hoping that they did not run together thus the shape of the individual cuts we have in this group. Oddly enough many of the run of mill players are far rarer than the Hall of Famers who signed with them.
