BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 1930'S ERA LA MODE
GOLD FILLED LOCKET NECKLACE!
LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE NECKLACE. IT IS CLEARLY MARKED INSIDE THE LOCKET "La Mode, 1/20 12K. G.F.", AND WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 8 GRAMS. THE FINE CHAIN IS NOT MARKED AND HAS A FILIGREE SLIDE CLASP THAT MAY BE A REPLACEMENT, BUT IS CORRECT FOR THE PERIOD AND IS JUST AS I RECEIVED IT. THE PRETTY PENDANT MEASURES 7/8" ACROSS, HAS A SCALLOPED EDGE AND OPEN TO REVEAL TWO PICTURE COMPARTMENTS, EACH WITH THE ORIGINAL RING TO SECURE THE PICTURE. THE BACK HAS AN ENGINE TURNED SWIRL PATTERN AND THE FACE OR COVER FEATURES A SPRAY OF FLOWERS WITH A BLANK PLAQUE THAT COULD BE ENGRAVED. IT HAS CERTAINLY BEEN WORN, IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION AND GOOD WORKING ORDER!
