    Description
    This peculiar banding lot comes from Germany circa 1920.  In addition to having indiviually cut and placed pieces, the strips occur in double widths.  Truely unique.
    Banding specifics:
    2-1/4" wide
    Total of  254" ( 21' - 2") consisting of:
    Double widths 39", 26-1/2", 30"
    Single width 28", 35"
    1/25"+ thickness
    French walnut, chestnut burl, pear
    Paper faced, stamped with "Made in Germany" and "1557"
    Roughed on the back for better gluing adhesion
    Traditional workmanship - face cut grain throughout and hand placed
